Swimming Sports

The swimming sports were held  on a sunny day. Room 21 won the relay out of the whole year five classes. The students had a relay against the teachers and the teachers won but the students won the 50 meters race. James did really well coming 2nd in all his races except one which he came first. We are all proud of James and everybody that swam.

Whanau Day

On the 9th of December there is going to be an event held in P.C.S called Whanau Day. We are going to have lots of  entertainment including, a disco, sausage sizzle, and Christmas concerts held by Mrs Corke and P.C.S. There will be a range of performances and food available on the day and you can even invite your parents to have a picnic on our lovely field and join us to enjoy the Christmas concert.
We are really looking forward to it.

Swimming

On Thursday 8th December, some of our fantastic students are going swimming. The swimmers are so nervous and so are we. The non-swimmers will be participating in wonderful games held by the coolest teachers. Mr McAleer and Miss Akava will be racing the top students. We wish them all good luck.

Room 10 letters

On Tuesday we gave our buddy letters to Room 10. We replied to all their questions. They really enjoyed reading our letters and we enjoyed writing them. We had a great time.

If you were an adult who would you vote for?

Room 21 has been discussing about who we would vote for to be Prime Minister. Would you vote for National and John Key or Labour and Phil Golf? We talked about each party's criteria and the pros and cons. For instance, Green is trying to help the environment but they are going to raise the taxes to pay for everything. We had big discussions and great ideas. If you could vote, who would you vote for?

Good bye Mr Mainwaring

Unfortunately Mr Mainwaring has left us because he needs to go back to University to finish his teacher training. We will miss him as he was a very helpful, kind and cool teacher

Buddy letters

Room 21's wonderful buddy class, Room 10 made some beautiful letters for us. They asked us what we did and what we liked, e.g did we watch the All Blacks win the World Cup? We wrote some replies and we will give them to Room 10 next week.
